House rules
Few and common sense, so the house stays just as nice for the next group. We share them with affection.

No smoking indoors
No smoking or vaping inside the house, and certainly not in the bedrooms. Smokers can step out to the patio.

Pets, in the booking
They are welcome, with a fixed charge per pet per stay. Add them when you book, and they stay out of the pool.

The pool, with an adult
Children must always be supervised by an adult. Shower before you get in, and keep glass, food and drink out of the pool and its surroundings.

Careful with fire
Lighting the fireplace is part of the charm, but let’s not call the fire brigade: be careful, and don’t cook in it.

Keep the barbecue clean
For grilling there is the barbecue in the patio. When you finish, clean the grills as far as you can.

Furniture stays put
Please don’t move heavy furniture, for your back and the floors. If you move something small, put it back before you leave.

No food in the bedrooms
We are in the countryside and the bugs would be all too grateful. Eat in the kitchen, the living rooms or the patio.

Artists, on paper
If the little ones bring paints, keep an eye on them: they are surely great artists, but no Picassos on walls or furniture.

Rubbish goes out
Don’t let it pile up or leave it inside when you go: take it to the containers at the entrance to the village. Collection days are on the fridge.

Only booked guests stay over
Visitors are welcome during the day, with no more than 12 people in the house, but only the guests on the booking stay the night. Parties and events are not allowed.

If something breaks, tell us
Things break and that’s fine: tell us as soon as you notice and we’ll fix it, ideally while you are still here.

Quiet nights
Alcoleja is a small, quiet village: at night, no noise that bothers the neighbours.

Like your own home
In short, don’t do anything you wouldn’t do in yours. Leave it clean and you’ll earn yourselves a great review.
